La pastelería Brunells, con un origen que se remonta a 1852, situada en un espacio historico de Barcelona, cerró sus puertas el 2018. Dos años después tres nuevos socios se deciden a darle vida de nuevo, reivindicando la importancia de los negocios y espacios emblemáticos de la ciudad de Barcelona.
La pastelería Canal, Cafés el Magnífico y la agencia de branding LKC Barcelona se unen en un proyecto ambicioso de recuperación y renovación de una pastelería y cafetería tradicional, bajo una mirada respetuosa hacia el pasado se genera una marca nueva y presente.

Based on the chiselled letters on the marble floor at the entrance of the patisserie, we refined a wordmark that keeps the historic essence in the letterforms with minor changes to improve the spacing and the relation between them. A symbol was created to be used as a stamp by utilizing the characteristic forms of the letter "S" as a decorative motif.

APPLICATIONS
APPLICATIONS
We focused on the importance of color and contrast, and the interaction between packaging, brand and space. The identity of the patisserie as a whole is generated by the relationships between all the elements inside it, by working closely with Ekis, the studio behind the interior design, we aimed for a rich, cohered and interesting space.
